Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry men's tennis team stifled the Colgate Raiders 6-3 at the Buccaneer Tennis Center on Wednesday to run their record to a perfect 12-0 on the season.

The Bucs got things hopping on the right foot by taking two of the three doubles matches. Samir M'Bioka and Thomas Hipp dominated Colgate's Evan Ambrose and Jon Bedard 8-5 to take the top flight.

In singles, M'Bioka sat the match out, moving everyone else up in the lineup. It presented little problem for the Bucs against the NCAA Division I Raiders. Thomas Hipp made short work of Reed Hagmann 6-0, 7-5 at #1 singles and Sebastian Losavio tripped up Ambrose 6-0, 6-2 at #3. Dirk Benninghaus closed out the scoring that mattered with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Blake Willmarth at #5.

The Raiders claimed two super tie-breaker set wins to make the final score closer than it actually was.

The Raiders fall to 7-4 on the season. Barry hosts Tufts University on Friday at 2:00 pm.
