Box Score ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--The Barry women's basketball team, playing without three starters, fell 67-61 to the Eckerd Tritons in Sunshine State Conference action at the McArthur Center Wednsday night.

The Bucs were without leading scorer Candace Blackbird, leading rebounder Bridget Bradshaw and All-Conference pick Amra Alagic, all out with injuries.

In the first half, the Bucs came out shooting hot and led 31-29 at the intermission.

But the Tritons roared back in the second half and took a 52-50 lead with 5:54 left to play and never trailed.

Ecekrd improves to 11-11, 2-7 in the SSC. Barry falls to 9-13, 3-6 in the league.
