Box Score VALDOSTA, Ga. -- The 12th ranked Barry University men's tennis team overpowered the #8 Valdosta State Blazers 6-3 earlier this afternoon.

The Bucs won two out of the three doubles matches and four of the six singles to come out victorious over the highly touted Blazers.

Thomas Hipp and Samir M'Bioka battled it out at the #1 doubles defeating Marco Bourges and Peter Krenegselct of Valdosta 9-8. In the singles round, M'Bioka topped Bourges at the #1 in a three-set match 3-6, 7-5, 6-4 while freshman Thomas Hipp shocked Blazer Christopher Schneider 6-4, 6-0.

The Buccaneers improve to 4-0 on the season and return to the clay Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 am taking on North Florida in Jacksonville.
