Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The ninth-ranked Barry University volleyball team flattened the Rollins College Tars in three games 30-20, 30-19 and 32-30 earlier tonight in Sunshine State Conference action at the Health & Sports Center.

The Buccaneers blistered the Tars hitting .320 as a team for the match and keeping their unbeaten streak alive at 45 consecutive games. However, Halloween night gave the Bucs a scare as the Tars took the highly touted Barry team 32-30 in the final set.

Simone Ferrarezi the Bucs with 13 kills and hit .231 for the night. Kelly Dantas followed with 10 kills in just two games and hit .412 in the Bucs winning efforts. Daniela Lanza directed the Buccaneers with a match-high 42 assists.

Kate Ferris was the only Tar to tally double-digits in kills leading her team with 13, while Meagan Leblanc directed the Tar offense with 25 assists.

The Buccaneers will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 4 pm for senior day hosting Florida Tech in conference play.
