Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The 14th-ranked Barry Buccaneers singed the Florida Tech Panthers 4-0 at Buccaneer Field Friday night in Sunshine State Conference women's soccer action.

The Bucs (6-3-2, 4-0-0 SSC) have now won 36 straight SSC matches and have defeated every team in the conference at least once. The Panthers are in their first season.

Emelie Karlsson and Melissa Behrle hooked up at the 8:27 mark to give the Bucs an early lead they would never relinquish. Karlsson's corner kick found Behrle's foot at the top of the six-yard box and Behrle slipped a shot between Panther keeper Stephanie Martzall and the post.

Karlsson scored her team-leading 10th goal at the 34:46 mark with assists from Tiina Saario and Jena Cernuto.

Saario and Tammie Thornton each scored second half goals, while Karlsson, Britt Miazgowicz and Saario each added assists.

The Bucs could have had more goals as they misfired on two penalty kicks, including one by keeper Johanna Fischer, won by Karlsson.

The Buccaneer defense limited the Panthers to just two shots, both by Jennifer Dunn.

Fischer picked up the win in goal, her 46th of her career tying Carilynn Hormilla for the school record, making one save before giving way to Liz Morgan for the final 12:44. Martzall kept the game close for the Panthers making 11 saves.

The Bucs travel to Rollins on Wednesday, October 8 at 5:00 pm to face the Tars.
