Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla.—The second-ranked Barry Buccaneers drubbed the Lynn Fighting Knights 30-8, 30-20, 30-23 at the de Hoernle Center Wednesday night in Sunshine State Conference volleyball action.
The Bucs hit a blistering .633 in game one while holding the Knights to -.065 to walk away with a 22-point win.
The Knights (14-16, 1-7 SSC) rallied in each successive game, but could get no closer than seven points.
Fernanda Brino and
Samanta Tucillo combined for 27 kills and a .694 attack percentage. Brino added 11 digs and Tucillo 10 as each had a double-double.
The Bucs have now won 42 straight games to shatter the school record of 28 set in 1994.
Barry (18-2, 8-0 SSC) are back in action on Friday, Oct. 31 against Rollins in the Health & Sports Center.
