Box Score DENVER, Colo. -- The Barry University Buccaneers got speared by the Augustana State Vikings 3-0 earlier today at the Colorado Premier Challenge hosted by Regis University and Metro State. The Bucs lost all three games 30-28, 30-24, and 30-26.

Kelly Dantas paced the Buccaneers with 12 kills and a .200 attack percentage and added 12 digs. Fernanda Ferreira added 11 kills, while Karla Bersano tallied a match-high 17 digs and four service aces. Daniela Lanza served up a match-high 36 assists.

The Vikings were led by Jackie Hurst with 12 kills and teammate Sara Larson added 10.

The Buccaneers fall to 1-4 on the season, while the Vikings improved to 2-5. The Bucs will resume action for their final match of the Premier Challenge at 2:30 pm mountain time versus the winner of the Western State/West Texas A&M match.
