Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry women's soccer team won its 21st straight Sunshine State Conference match by slaying the Lynn Knights 4-0 at Buccaneer Field Wednesday night.

Emelie Karlsson scored twice in the first half and added a second half assist to pace the Bucs's attack.

Pam McDonald and Tammie Thornton scored the Bucs' two second half goals.

The margin of victory was the largest in the 20-game history of the series, matching the 4-0 win by Barry in the first game Oct. 4, 1986.

"The Lynn-Barry rivalry has been the biggest in South Florida since I played here in the late 80s," Barry head coach Kyllene Carter-Weiss said. "It's always a good feeling when you can win like this."

Johanna Fischer made one save to record her fourth shutout of the season. Lynn's Maegan Vondal kept the game from getting completely out of hand but stopping eight shots.

The Bucs improve to 5-0-0, 1-0-0 in the SSC. Lynn drops to 2-3-1, 0-1-0 in the conference. The Bucs take on Saint Leo on Friday at 7:00 pm at Buccaneer Field.
