Box Score Miami Shores, Fla. -- The Barry University volleyball team's 13-match home-court win streak came to an end earlier tonight after falling to the BYU-Hawaii Seasiders 3-0 taking all three games 30-20, 30-26, 30-21.
BYU-Hawaii's impressive offensive attack led to the Seasiders' .340 team attack percentage to the Buccaneers .159.
Karla Bersano paced the Buccaneers with 12 kills on 38 attempts. Playing her first match of the season,
Kelly Dantas was second on the team with 10 kills and led the team with a .261 attack percentage.
The Seasiders were led by tournament MVP Yu Chuan Weng with 17 kills, while teammates Chun Yi Lin and Ashley Moeai added 12 and 10 kills respectively. Moeai also added a team high .533 attack percentage. Kaala Lo registered 41 assists and served up a match high four services aces. Dan Xu rounded out the team leaders with a match-high 14 digs.
Both the Seasiders and the Buccaneers had three players each on the All-Tournament team. For BYU-Hawaii, Yu Chuan Weng was selected as the most valuable player averaging 5.8 kills and 3.3 digs per game followed by teammates Chun Yi Lin and Kaalo Lo. Barry's

Daniela Lanza were also tabbed to the All-Tournament team. Alys Thomas of Florida Tech rounded out the All-Tournament selections.
The Buccaneers were handed their first loss in 24 contests and fell to 1-1 on the season while the Seasiders were perfect throughout the tournament improving to 3-0 on the season. The Buccaneers will return to action at the Colorado Premier Challenge in Denver, Colo. beginning Friday, Sept. 6 at 12 noon.
