Box Score BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Barry University men's tennis team outlasted the Lynn University Fighting Knights 5-4 earlier this afternoon at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex.
The Knights took two of three singles, but the Bucs bounced back taking four of the six singles matches for the 5-4 win. Samir M'Bioka and Sebastian Losavio teamed up to win at the number one doubles 8-6 over Lynn's Martin Carenko and Stefan Maushton.
In singles, the Bucs swept the number one and number two singles with ease. At the number three singles, Eric Holubec lost the first set 2-6 and was up in the second 3-0 before Lynn's Pedro Musica was forced to retired because of an ankle sprain.
The Bucs went on to win the match, 5-4 and improving to 8-7 on the season and 3-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.
