Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry women's basketball team crushed the short-handed Florida Southern Moccasins 71-55 at the Health & Sports Center Saturday afternoon.
The Bucs led 34-21 at the half and stretched the lead to over 20 points in the second half before settling for the 16-point win.
Amra Alagic led Barry with 22 points, while Carolina Santamarina chipped in a career-high 21 points in her final game in the Health & Sports Center. Monique Bunch led Florida Southern with 21 points and Jamie Atkins added 13 points.
Barry finishes the regular season 14-12, 8-6 in the Sunshine State Conference, clinching third seed at the conference tournament in Melbourne, Fla. Florida Southern drops to 11-15, 4-10 in the league.
