Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry University men's tennis team dropped its home opener to the Embry-Riddle Eagles 6-3 at the Buccaneer Tennis Complex Tuesday afternoon.
The Eagles took two of three doubles, then won four of the six singles matches to clinch the victory.
Barry's Alex Reichl and Perry Bakst combined at number three doubles for an 8-4 win over Alex Beaux and Preston Kohikiva.
Samir M'Bioka defeated Georgi Beloretchki 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 at number one singles and Sabastian Losavio knocked off Nicolas Bousquet 6-1, 6-3 for Barry's only two singles wins.
The Buccaneers are 0-1 to open the season. Embry-Riddle improves to 7-1.
