Box Score FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla.--The Barry women's basketball team stunned the Nova Southeastern Knights 66-64 at Mayer Gym Friday night.

The Knights led 63-57 with 1:43 left to play. But Barry's Candace Blackbird hit a three-pointer to cut the lead to 63-60 with 1:33 on the clock.

After a timeout, the Knights turned the ball over on the inbounds play and Sanja Zivanovic made them pay by tying the game 63-63 with another three-pointer.

NSU's Tahaji Felder put the Knights back up by sinking one of two free throws with :13 seconds left, but Barry's Amra Alagic had the final answer, nailing a three-pointer with :2.8 seconds on the clock to account for the ending margin.

Zivanovic, who hit six-of-eight from three-point range, led all scorers with 22 points, a career high. Alagic added 15 and Polona Oberc had 10 off the bench. Jessie Pate led the Knights with 19 points.

Barry improves to 4-5, while Nova Southeastern drops to 2-7. Barry travels across town to face the lady Lions of Florida Memorial on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 5:00 pm.
