Box Score JACKSONVILLE, Fla.--The Barry University women's volleyball team continued its hot streak to open the
season defeating the 20th-ranked Norse of Northern Kentucky University 3-1 Friday night at the Labor Day Classic tournament at North Florida's UNF Arena.

The Bucs won the first game 30-22, but the Norse rallied to clip Barry 31-29 in the game two. But the Bucs reasserted their dominance taking the final two games 30-22 and 30-15.

Karla Bersano led Barry with 23 kills and 20 digs, while Fernanda Ferreira added 21. Daniela Lanza had six service aces.

The Bucs improve to 4-0, their best start since opening the 1994 season 9-0. Northern Kentucky falls to 2-1. Barry will face Valdosta State on Saturday at noon.
