Diana Akopova earned Buccaneer of the Week following 6.3 kills and a .365 hitting percentage across three Barry wins last week. In a three-set win at Nova Southeastern, the Russian put up 18 kills on 38 attempts with two errors for a .421 hitting percentage. Akopova followed with 24 kills on 54 attempts with six errors for a .333 hitting percentage as Barry swept Embry-Riddle. Finally, the sophomore tallied 15 kills on 34 attempts with three errors for a .353 hitting percentage in a sweep of Rollins. She also provided the Buccaneers with 22 digs, eight blocks, four assists, and four service aces in her nine sets.
