Diana Akopova earns Offensive Player of the Week for her role in Barry's 4-0 record at last week's Hilltopper Classic. The Russian registered 68 kills (5.87 per set), 12 blocks (1.00 per set), 26 digs (2.17 per set), and a .302 hitting percentage on her way to tournament MVP honors. The sophomore's top match came against Harding, where she tallied 19 kills on 39 attempts with five errors. She also provided the Buccaneers with 14 digs and five block assists. Akopova opened the 2022 season with 18 or more kills and hit above .300 in her first three contests.
