Kiara Palmer earned her third SSC Defensive Player of the Week award this season following 17 defensive rebounds and seven blocks in two conference games. The Miami product posted a double-double against Florida Tech, grabbing 12 rebounds and scoring 12 points in a 60-45 loss to the Panthers. Palmer also came away with a steal and four blocks in the loss. The senior recorded three more blocked shots and a steal in a 69-57 win over Nova Southeastern, as Barry claimed a 69-57 victory over the Sharks. In the win, Palmer had another double-double, this time scoring 21 points and grabbing 17 rebounds.
