Ahmed Triki was named the Male Athlete of the Year for 2016-17. This season, he is third in the country in singles again and seventh in doubles. He is currently 12-3 at #1 singles and 17-3 in doubles as the Bucs rank second in the nation. He had a 38 dual-match winning streak, mostly at #1 and is second in school history with a .902 singles winning percentage (55-6). He is tied for the record for doubles winning percentage at .859 (79-13). A three-time member of the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll and the ITA Scholar All-America list, he was a Third-Team Academic All-American in 2015 and First-Team in 2016.
