Ahmed Triki beat 16th-ranked Nicolas Uryson of Palm Beach Atlantic, 1-6, 6-1, 16-14, at No. 1 singles last week. It was his third win over a ranked opponent this season. He also beat New York Tech's David Jiang, 4-6, 6-1, 6-3, at No. 1 singles. He improved to 9-0 -- all at the top position.
Triki and Renato Lombardi were 8-6 winners over Jiang and Tomas Lieb at No. 1 doubles. The Buccaneers pair are ranked No. 9 in the country, and sport an 8-0 record at the top position. Triki and Nico Dreer defeated PBA's Nicholas Battistini and Fernando Arroyo, 8-2, at No. 2 doubles.
