Jasmine Waters

Jasmine Waters was named a volunteer assistant coach at Barry University in August 2014.

Waters played three years at Virginia Commonwealth University from 2010-12. She finished her career second all-time in school history in blocks per set (1.12). Waters was fourth in total blocks (342). She tied for second among school leaders in total blocks in a season (157) and block assists (138). She was third in hitting percentage (.325) as a senior. Waters was named to the North Carolina State Invitational All-Tournament Team, and was voted Most Valuable Player at Ball State's Active Ankle Challenge.

As a junior, Waters set a Rams season record with 157 blocks. She established a new school record and ranked third in the Colonial Athletic Association in blocks per set (1.23). In 2011, she received Cobra Magazine's All-National Team Honorable Mention and All-East Region honors. She was an All-East Honorable Mention in 2010.

Prior to VCU, Waters played one season at Temple, where she earned the Owls Most Improved Player award. 

Waters graduated from VCU in May 2013 with a bachelor's of science in biology. She is currently pursuing a master's in biomedical sciences at Barry with designs to become a dentist.
