Ana Pain

Ana Pain joined the women's tennis staff in the spring of 2024 as a volunteer assistant coach.

Pain enjoyed a stellar career with the Bucs from 2014-17, winning two national championships, including the clinching point in 2017 as the Bucs knocked off arch-rival Lynn in the finals. She went 55-6 in singles, winning 90.2 percent of her matches, including 21-2 in Sunshine State Conference matches. In doubles, she was even better, going 83-14, 28-1 in the SSC matches. She ranked second in school history when she graduated and still ranks fourth in doubles wins.

Pain turned pro at 13 years old in New Caledonia, reaching an ITF ranking of 60 and WTA of 300. She reached the quarterfinals in doubles at the 2011 French Open. She was ranked fifth in France and was a member of the French National Training Base from 2010-13.

She has worked as a professional tennis coach in South Florida for several years, first at Saviano High Performance Tennis in Davie, Fla., and with her own company AP Pro Tennis LLC in since July 2023.

She earned her bachelor's degree in biology in 2017 and completed her master's in public health in 2021, both at Barry.

She is a WTA certified coach and also holds a certification from Professional Tennis Registry.
