Meredith Targonski joined the rowing staff as a student manager in the spring of 2022, after a successful career as a coxswain with the Minnesota Gophers.

As a junior, she coxed the 3V8 boat to a second-place finish in the Women's Collegiate 8+ event at the Head of The Mississippi, before the season ended on Mar. 12, due to the pandemic. She was named an Academic All-Big Ten selection. As a sophomore, she competed on the novice crew.

She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology with a minor in coaching from the University of Minnesota. At Barry, she is pursuing her master's in sport, exercise, and performance psychology.

She also works part-time as a personal trainer at Equinox Gym.
