Luna Ugrenovic was named graduate assistant coach of Barry University's rowing team in August 2017.
She will be responsible for coaching the novice crew and assisting with varsity practices, in addition to administrative duties.
Ugrenovic rowed for four years at Barry, and was part of the Buccaneers' back-to-back NCAA Division II championship teams in 2015 and 2016. She rowed with the Varsity 4 crew that won the 2016 national title. Ugrenovic sat in the Varsity 8 boat that won the Petite Final at the 2017 NCAA Championships.
She is a three-time Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete.
Ugrenovic earned a bachelor's degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Barry in 2017. She is pursuing a masters degree in sport, exercise and performance psychology from Barry.
