Kyla Pullen joined the rowing coaching staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2023. 

Pullen rowed for the Bucs for two seasons from 2021-23. She was named All-SSC after the 2023 season, which honors the top-eight rowers in the conference. Her Varsity 8 boat placed second at the SSC Championships in 2023. 

Pullen graduated from Barry with a bachelors in biology and a minor in chemistry. She was placed on the Dean's list twice and the President's list four times.
