Sinue Zardo enters his second season as volunteer assistant coach for the Buccaneers. Zardo’s decision to join the team was primarily to continue his dedication to creating a positive environment and making a difference in the athletes he oversees.

Zardo is also currently an assistant coach for the Miami-Dade FC.

Prior to joining Barry, Zardo was a professional athlete for 10 years and soccer coach for 15. Zardo started playing soccer at the school of Grêmio in 1981 and then ended up going pro after staying with the club for 10 years. He was loaned to Florianopolis Avai before returning to Grêmio to play in the Brazilian league matches in 1987-89 against teams such as FC Santos, Clube Atletico Mineiro, and de Regatas Vasco da Gama Club.

In 1987, his team, Gremio, captured the Gaúcho Championship. Two years later, his team was the 1989 Brazil Cup champion.

In 1990, Zardo had his first experience as a professional athlete abroad when he was on loan from Grêmio FBPA, to the Rangers of Talca, Chile. His squad comprised an excellent campaign, appearing in the final of "Liguilla" that year, but could not bring the club to the first division. From then until 1993, he remained with the club bond, and then moved permanently to Danúbio Montevideo.

In 1995, Zardo went to Europe at the invitation of a representative of Gil Vicente FC and signed a contract with neighboring team, AD Esposende, where he played for two seasons in Portugal.

In the year 1998, Zardo received an invitation to play in Guatemala for Antigua GFC, where his team was the league champion in 1999 and went up to the first division.

In the same year, Zardo decided to end his career as a professional athlete and resume his studies at the University, which led him to becoming a physical education teacher in 2004. Parallel to his studies, he started training and teaching children in the sport of soccer.

In 2007 Zardo took over the professional team, Mirim EC Mogi, in São Paulo and shortly after he moved to join Luverdense EC in Mato Grosso. The following year, he did a post graduate degree in Sport Coaching at UFRGS.

After a stellar career of playing and coach soccer, Zardo became an instructor who strived to help students and athletes to achieve and pursue their goals, while also supporting colleagues and administration in facilitating each athlete.
