Second-year graduate students in the Sport, Exercise, and Performance Psychology program work under close supervision from their faculty supervisors to deliver psychological skills training to the student-athletes, teams, and coaches. To ensure continuity in our service delivery to the athletes and coaches, supervisors keep a log of all the work that is being accomplished by the student in regards to their mental conditioning work. This enables future students to take over with a smoother transition for the athlete, coach, or team. Also, graduate students will first build rapport and get to know the coach/athlete before any work begins.
