AVE MARIA, Fla. -- Barry scored a pair in the first half and held the Gyrenes without a shot as the Buccaneers defeated Ave Maria 2-0 in women's soccer action from Gyrene Field on Friday night.

- Marlen Hernandez recorded her sixth straight shutout, running her scoreless streak to 540 minutes on the year and 562 dating back to last season. She did not face a shot.
- It was the first time the Bucs held an opponent without a shot since a 4-0 win over Florida National in 2023.
- Emma Schweitzer played the first 50 minutes for Ave Maria, allowing two goals and did not have a save.
- Hannah Kelly played the final 40 minutes, stopping four shots without allowing a goal.
- Garcia converted a penalty kick for the second time this season and now leads the team with four goals. It was also her first game-winner.
- Although the game was a regular game for the Bucs, the Gyrenes played it as an exhibition due to NAIA rules.
