MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The energy has shifted and the Barry Men's Volleyball is rolling as they pick up their third straight victory. The Bucs pick up their seventh sweep of the season taking down Jamestown on Friday evening from the Health and Sports Center Gym.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Set One - Maddox Gifford got the set started with a kill to get the energy going for the Buccaneers. Barry had full momentum in the first set, hitting a massive .565 making no attacking errors. William Phinizy and Jacob Strnisa each had four kills in the set. The defense had two blocks and forced seven attacking errors ass the Jimmies hit .080. | | Barry 25, Jamestown 14
- Set Two - The second set had more of a back-and-forth battle to start off. After a 7-7 tie, Barry ran away with four straight points to gain some distance on the board. From that moment on, it was all Barry. The offense had 11 kills and three service aces. The defense contributed three blocks and forced a negative hit percentage from Jamestown. | Barry 25, Jamestown 19
- Set Three - In the third, it looked a lot like the previous set until Phinizy had a momentum changing service ace. In the next service for Barry, Gifford had another service ace to help build on the lead. Zachary Jabr put the match away with a kill. Phinizy and Strnisa led the charge again with four kills in the set. | Barry 25, Jamestown 22
NOTEWORTHY:
- Phinizy raised his season-high to 11 kills breaking through for double-digits for the first time this season.
- The Buccaneers set a new program record in service aces with nine.
- Joao Piazza Baumgartem led the offense with 26 assists, adding two kills, a service ace, eight digs, and a block.
- Barry tied for a low of being aced just once in the contest.
