Women's Soccer Welcomes 13 Players To Fall Roster

Bucs have three transfers and 10 freshman joining in the fall

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Jay Harris' women's soccer team welcomes 13 new players as they prepare for the 2025 season in The Shores. Last year, the Bucs posted an 8-7-2 overall record, including 3-5-2 in the Sunshine State Conference. 

“It was an experience to compete in the toughest Division II conference in the country,” Harris said. “I feel like we've improved both our depth and athleticism with the players we've brought on.”

Three transfers and 10 freshmen join the team this fall. The group includes five defenders, three keepers, two forwards, and three midfielders.

Aubrey is a composed goal keeper who sees the game and is comfortable off her line. She will bring depth to our GK position. – Harris

I chose Barry because of the instant feeling of family and belonging as soon as I met Coach Jay and the girls. Barry is a place that has an amazing environment for me to grow as both a player and a person. A competitive conference and style of play is something I have always searched for and Barry has exactly that. I believe that God has placed me here for a reason and Barry is where I belong. The Buccaneers open the season at home against Ave Maria on Thursday, Sept. 4, in the first of four straight home matches to start the season.
