Justin Furr Unveils Men's Basketball Schedule for First Season as Head Coach

Barry plays 14 of 28 games at home

Men's Basketball 2025-26 Schedule

Men's Basketball | 7/30/2025 2:00:00 PM

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – New men's basketball head coach Justin Furr has unveiled the 2025-26 schedule for Barry University.

"In putting the slate together, we wanted to make sure that it would challenge us," Furr said. "Opening the season in the crossover will give us an early glimpse at where we are, taking on two of the top teams in the country. Our schedule also allows us some flexibility to step outside the division, to take on some other in-state competition. Over the holidays the Century Retail Christmas Classic, gives us the chance to take on other divisional opponents outside the region to give us a good feel for the level of play in two other leagues.

"The Sunshine State Conference is perennially one of the top circuits in the country, with half of the regional qualifiers, including the defending national champions, and we know we'll be challenged on a nightly basis. Playing four conference games before the break gives us a good idea of how we stack up in this league."

The Bucs have 28 games on deck, with half of them being played at the Health & Sports Center. Barry has a 363-202 (64.9 winning percentage) at home across the program's 40-year history.
