MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Men's Basketball team had pure dominance for their first win of the young season against South Florida Bible breaking 100 on the scoreboard. This marks the first victory for head coach Justin Furr in his debut on Cesar Odio Court.

- 1H - Barry jumped out to an early lead with the help of Ryan Van Eyck who had a fast break lay-in and then stamped on a dunk. SFBC was able to make their way back in it tying things up at 11-all. That is when the Bucs got hot going on a 12-0 run. Gui Tesch checked in for the first time as a Buccaneer and scored in his first three attempted shots draining a three, putting in two layups, and scoring on both his free throw attempts. - 2H - Novak Perovic scored the first bucket of the second half to give them a 30-point advantage. No matter who was on the floor, the buckets kept coming. Deon Perry and Sami Elkamel led the half with 11 and 13 points, respectively. Elkamel nearly had a double-double off the bench in the half with nine boards. NOTEWORTHY:
- Perry had a game-high 20 points and added four assists and two steals.
- All starters were in double figures.
- Marko Šarenac was a rebound short of a double-double with a season-high 16 points and nine.
- Elkamel had his second career double-double, coming off the bench with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
- Van Eyck's 14 assists are tied for 5th most in a single game in Barry history. It is the most since Elvar Fridriksson had in 2015 against Florida National.
- Barry stuffed the staff sheet, with the most impressive stats being the 62-14 points in the paint and 21-1 fast break point advantages.
