DAVIE, Fla. -- It was a back and forth battle against no. 6 Alabama-Huntsville and the Barry University Men's Basketball team. The Chargers took the contest in an overtime victory by three to conclude the SSC/GSC Crossover tournament.

SUMMARY:
- 1H - It was a dog fight from the start as both teams scored on their first possession trading three-point baskets. Deon Perry picked up where he left off knocking down the first bucket for the Buccaneers. It was an even split in the half as both teams held the lead for six minutes. There were 10 lead changes and 11 ties between the both teams. Barry held the biggest lead at six as Tarrance Warren hit a three, had a steal and score, and Adren Roberts solidified it with a slam. UAH had back to back threes to quickly cut into the momentum, the capped off the half with a layup and two free throws to take a three point lead into the break. - 2H - Perry once again scored the first basket, tying the game at 46 all. The Chargers built a seven point lead eight minutes in, however the Bucs hit three straight threes to make it 65-63. Stanley hit back to back threes in that process. Barry was on the brink of their first victory, as Perry hit what would have been a game-winning and-on with 11 seconds remaining. But the Chargers took advantage of an offensive board and put back layup with 0.5 seconds on the clock to send the game into overtime. | UAH 84, Barry 84
- OT - It was all but over with 19 seconds on the clock and down two possessions, but Warren had a little heroics left in him, draining a three to make it 99-97. Coming down to the last play, Barry was unable to get the inbound in across court as it ultimately ended the game. | UAH 100, Barry 97
NOTEWORTHY:
- Perry led all Buccaneers with 29 points, topping last night's 18 points. He remains perfect at the line going 13-13 on the weekend.
- Warren and Stanley were right behind with 25 and 19, respectively.
- Ryan Van Eyck was the last Buccaneer in double figures with 13.
- Barry had a better offensive performance than UAH shooting 48% from the field, 44% from behind the arc and 84% at the line, compared to UAH's 44/36/78.
- The Buccaneer bench dominated 44-14 in points.
