MELBOURNE, Fla. -- The sixth-seeded Barry Buccaneers closed out the season in the quarterfinals of the Sunshine State Conference men's soccer tournament with a 2-1 overtime loss to the third seed, Florida Tech, at Stotler Field on Monday night.

- 27:39 - Santiago Montoya put the Bucs out on top early in the first half, with an assist from Julien Laborde. Montoya launched a shot from near the edge of the box that was blocked by the Panther defense. NOTEWORTHY:
- The Panthers out-shot Barry 25-11, and 11-5 on goal.
- Djordje Mihajlovic had nine saves for the Bucs, but allowed the t wo goals.
- Elias Ronning Orn had four saves with one goal allowed for the Panthers.
- It was the first overtime loss for the Bucs since falling 1-0 to Lenoir-Rhyne on Sept. 14, 2019.
