MIAMI SHORES, Fla.- The Barry men's golf team broke into the Bushnell/Golfweek  DII coaches poll for the first tme this year ranking 18th after placing top ten in three of their four fall season tournaments. The men's team just had an outstanding performance at the Citrus Invitational where they placed second out of the 14 teams in attendance. 

The coaches picked Lee as the number one ranked team (five first-place votes), Grand Valley State (seven first-place votes), West Florida (three-first-place votes), Central Oklahoma, and Florida Southern rounded out the top five, while Wingate (one first-place vote), Georgia Southwestern, Columbus State, St. Mary's (TX), and Catawba completed the top 10. The Bucs trailed only three points behind Nova Southeastern with 127 points. 

The Bucs have officially completed their fall season and will continue in the spring at the Matlock Classic in Lakeland, Fla., at the Lone Palm Country Club from Feb. 9 to Feb 10.
