Tereza Zavrelova earned her second Sunshine State Conference weekly honor. The Junior brought home the honor presented by Pollo Campreo for the week if oct.20-Oct.26 for her standout performance at the Saint Leo Invitational where she placed second.
Zavrelova recorded a career-best finish in second place, setting a career-low total shots at 212. She was one of only two Buccaneers to place in the top 10 and she completed all three rounds without going over par, showcasing remarkable consistency throughout the tournament. She tied for fourth on Par 3s at 1-under, tied for second on Par 4s at 2-over, and tied for second on Par 5s at 4-under. The junior also tied for fourth in total birdies and fifth in total pars. Her best round came in the final 18 holes, where she went 1-under with five birdies, finishing the tournament with an impressive total of 36 pars and 10 birdies.
The Bucs have completed their fall season and will start off their spring season in February at the Wold Golf Invitational in St. Augustine, Fla.
