MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The junior varsity Bucs ran roughshod over the St. Thomas Bobcats in a twinbill Wednesday afternoon at Feinbloom Field, winning both games 10-0 shortened to five innings due to the run rule.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Gavin Pomper (2-0) worked three scoreless, hitless innings in the opener. He walked four and struck out four. The Bucs carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning, before settling for a one-hit shutout.
- Nick Groover (3-1) twirled five shutout innings in a complete game win. He allowed three hits and three walks, and struck tout four.
- Jake Romano took the loss for St. Thomas in the first game, allowing one unearned run on three hits and a walk in two innings of work.
- Omar Valdez gave up three runs (two earned) to take the loss in game two.
- Neither the pitchers' records nor the team record for St. Thomas was available.
- Ecken and Rodriguez each had three hits, including a double, for the Bucs. Ecken scored twice and drove in two. Rodriguez scored three and has one RBI.
- Nakamura drove in four in the second game, while Czarnomski had three RBI in game one.
- Barry won the season series 4-2 over St. Thomas, including three of the last four.
