PEMBROKE PINES, Fla.-- The Barry Buccaneers went on the road across town to crush the Florida Memorial Lions 7-0 on Monday night at USPL Stadium. Five different Buccaneers scored their first career goals in the game.

NOTEWORTHY:
- Bucs keeper Drew Dempsey, making her first-ever appearance in goal for the Bucs, faced no shots but got credit for a shutout, despite the early end.Â
- Lions keeper Hailey Ilijin had 13 saves in the loss.Â
- Barry out-shot the Lions 43-0, including 20-0 on goal and racked up five corner kicks. Â
- It was the second straight time in the series that Barry has won 7-0. They blanked the Lions 7-0 last November in the season finale.
- Blaya had two goals and an assist, while Toledo scored once and had two assists.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs game with Rollins on Saturday, Oct. 1 has been postponed due to Hurricane Ian until Oct. 28 in Winter Park, Fla. The Bucs next test comes on Oct. 5 at home against Palm Beach Atlantic, in a game that was postponed from Sept. 14.
