- T1: The Bucs jumped all over Bucccaneer starter Johnny Vazquez (4-0) in the first inning, pounding out four hits and scoring three runs. Ernie Medina drove in two runs with a triple to left center. | STU 3, Barry 0
- B1: The Bucs got one run back in the bottom of the inning. Yovan Ayes was hit by a pitch and stole second. He scored on a single by Giann-Michael Dominguez. | STU 3, Barry 1
- T2: The Bobcats got a run in the second on an error with two outs. | STU 4, Barry 1
- B3: Dominguez tied the game on a three-run homer down the left field line. Ayes and Jared Ward scored ahead of him. | Barry 4, STU 4

- B7: The Bucs batted around and scored five runs in the seventh. Ayes dropped a bunt single down the third-base line. Meilan bounced a single up the middle and Ayes motored all the way around to third. Meilan took second on the throw. The two scored on fly outs by Ward and Dominguez. Lee-Anthony Santiago beat out an infield single get the rally re-started. Bubba Hagen and Vincenzo Macolino were both hit by pitch to load the bases. All three moved up a base on a passed ball by Bobcat catcher Ricky Perez. - T9: In the ninth, Medina hit a second RBI triple and Chris Figueroa followed with a home run to left. But Julian Carrasquilla struck out Fernandez and Justian Aguas to end the threat. | Barry 10, STU 8
NOTEWORTHY:
- Vazquez had a rocky start in the first inning, but recovered to post another quality start, going five innings and allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk. He struck out three.
- Carrasquilla worked the final four innings to earn the save. He allowed four runs on four hits and a walk and struck out seven.
- Isaiah Hood took the loss for the Bobcats, giving up a run on two hits and two walks in three innings, while striking out five.
- Dominguez had a career night at the plate for the Bucs, going 2-for-2 with a homer and a walk, two sacrifice flies and six RBI.
- Ayes, Meilan and Ward all had two hits as well. Ayes scored three runs and stole two bases. Romero had two RBI.
