MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—Barry University will initiate a national search for the position of head coach of the Buccaneer rowing program, it was announced today by director of athletics, Michael L. Covone.

The search follows the departure of coach Nick Johnson, who led the team for five years. The Bucs earned one bid to the NCAA Regatta in 2018.

The Bucs will begin the process of finding his replacement in the coming days.
