DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Barry University Buccaneers men's basketball team fell to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, 88-79, in a Sunshine State Conference (SSC) matchup at the ICI Center on Friday afternoon.

- 1H - Tyler Hawkins, James Montgomery, and Jaron Williams each posted eight points in the first 20 minutes for the Buccaneers. Michael Schaefer returned to action for the first time since December 3 against Florida Southern and scored seven first-half points. Amari Haynes blocked a Dru Nickson shot but Chris Murray had a putback (one of seven offensive rebounds for Embry-Riddle) and the Eagles had their largest lead, 32-18, with 8:17 to go in the period.
