MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Buccaneer women's basketball team made a statement on Wednesday, Jan. 29, knocking off the Lynn Fighting Knights 76-74 at home on Coach Odio Court. The victory takes place just a week after dropped a neck-and-neck game to the Nova Southeastern Sharks. Despite finding themselves in similar circumstances this week, the Bucs showed their growth and were able to close out their opponents in crunch time.

- OT - Harriet Swindells dribbled the ball through the paint with 1:34 left to go before retreating to the three-point line to survey her options. She appeared astonished when she found herself wide-open before sinking what would be the dagger three-pointer. | Barry 76, Lynn 74
NOTEWORTHY:
- Barea made her presence felt down low, recording a career-high 22 points against the Fighting Knights to go along with 10 rebounds which also makes it her first double-double as a Buccaneer.
- Chiara Fusari logged a season-high 17 points to make it the fourth contest in her last six outing where she has eclipsed the double figures mark.
- Overall, the Bucs out-rebounded the knights 43-39 while also shooting a scorching 41.7 from downtown.
