MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The Barry Buccaneers lost the opener of their Sunshine State Conference baseball series 18-5 to the league-leading Embry-Riddle Eagles on Friday at Feinbloom Field.

NOTEWORTHY:
- The Eagles pounded out 25 hits, the second-most the Buccaneers have allowed in program history. The 10 doubles and 47 total bases are the most ever allowed by Buccaneer pitching.
- Goodall (8-1) worked six innings, allowing three runs on eight hits and four walks to earn the win.
- Arevalo (6-5) was tagged with the loss. In four innings, he allowed 11 runs (six earned) on 11 hits and a walk.
- Habig went 5-for-5 to lead the Eagles at the plate. Howard had four hits, while Sidwell, Devine, Marsh each had three.
- Matos led the Bucs with three hits.
