Women's Tennis Cuts Off Cougars

The Buccaneer women's tennis team defeated Columbus State 7-0

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The top-ranked Buccaneer women's tennis team keeps rolling after recording another dominant 7-0 victory over the third-ranked Columbus State Cougars on Saturday, Feb 16. at the USTA Training Center in Orlando, FL. The Bucs are now 13-0 in dual points through the first two matches of the season. Barry once again put on a spectacular display in doubles play with Zuza Maciejewska and Verena Schmid shutting out their opponents 6-0, while Jill Engelmann and Eleonore Barrere also captured a decisive 6-1 victory.

The Bucs will now look towards Sunday where they will stay put at the USTA Training Center and take on Valdosta State at noon.
