DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Undefeated no more. The No. 25-ranked Barry Buccaneers handed Embry-Riddle their first loss of the season inside the ICI Center. After Saturday's win, the Bucs sit atop the Sunshine State Conference standings and are winners of five straight. Barry won 25-18, 22-25, 25-23, 25-14.

WHAT ARE THEY SAYING:
"This was a great win against a very talented team that came into today undefeated. We raised our level of play and we were able to score points and pull away as the match went on," Bucs head coach
Steve Hendricks said.
SUMMARY:
- 1st set | Barry took advantage of several Embry-Riddle attack errors to go up 11-7, forcing the Eagles to call timeout. ERAU came out of the timeout looking better offensively, but Krsitina Filimonova led the Bucs to a 8-2 run to take the set.
- 2nd set | Seven more ties throughout the set led to a tight score with both teams hitting under .200.
- 3rd set | Barry dominated the net defensively with eight team blocks and keeping ERAU to a .000 attack percentage.
- 4th set | The Bucs pulled away with their best offensive performance of the afternoon. Barry hit .314 and was led by Anastasiia Samokhvalova with five kills.
NOTEWORTHY:.
- Samokhvalova recorded her second double-double of the season with 10 kills and 10 blocks. She leads the SSC in total blocks (76) and blocks-per-set (1.43).
- With 965 career digs, Audren Rose is 35 digs away from becoming the 8th Buccaneer player to record 1,000 digs in their career
