CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- The BarryU women's rowing team recorded an excellent performance at their second regatta of the year, coming in 2nd and 17th at the Head of The Charles. The regatta held in Massachusets featured a stacked field with 40 teams including several NCAA Division I schools competing at the event. Despite facing such stiff competition, Barry was the only school to place two boats in the top-20.

Results:
- First Varsity 4: 2nd place | 21:12.720
- Second Varsity 4: 17th place | 22:33.636
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"We were thrilled with our results today and incredibly proud of how both crews handled the weather and conditions," Bucs' head coach Nick Johnson said, "It was pretty far from 'Miami weather,' but we didn't let it affect us. We had some injuries and illnesses over the past week that altered our lineups and training, but both crews performed better than we could have asked. Two automatic entries for next year and a silver medal is a pretty good haul for all the adversity we went through."
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs will conclude their fall schedule at the Hatter Invitational in Deland, Fla., hosted by Stetson on Saturday, Oct. 27.
