MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – George Samuel insists he hasn't been thinking about it. Well, he is now after getting splashed with a water bath to commemorate his special day.
Barry University's longtime men's tennis coach collected career win No. 500 Thursday when the seventh-ranked Buccaneers beat Auburn-Montgomery, 7-2, at Buccaneer Tennis Center.
"Man, how do you like that?" Samuel said after the splash bath. "Every match we've played since I was informed I was getting close to 500, I've never thought about it. I'm more into what's going on in the court than myself. There are little things you can take with you. Hopefully after retirement that's something I can look back on with some of the other special memories."

WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"We regrouped yesterday. After the running, I called a team meeting, and showed them clips of the 2010 national championship. I told them this was the year we finally broke through. This is not an easy task ahead of us, but these guys are the type of team that can win this."
