CAMBRIDGE, Mass. -- Barry University's rowing team competed in the final day of Head of the Charles on Sunday. Two Buccaneer boats hit the water.

Final Results:
- Women's Collegiate 8: 16th place finish
- Women's Collegiate 4: 12th place finish
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING:
"It was a great experience for our squad, especially all of the freshman and athletes who haven't been to that type of regatta before," head coach Nick Johnson said. "The 4+ had a good result, and our 8+ has a lot of potential that they are starting to tap into. Overall, not the results we were aiming for, but it was a good building block for our young roster."
SUMMARY:
- The Buccaneer Collegiate 4 boat crossed the finish line in 18:54.600. University of New Hampshire won the event 18:20.141.
- The Buccaneer Collegiate 8 boat crossed the finish line in 17:23.591. Bates College won the event in 16:01.182.
ON THE HORIZON:
The Bucs will compete at the Hatter Invitational next Saturday in DeLand, Fla.
