KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. -- Barry University women's golfer Tilda Larsson tied for fifth at the Sunshine State Conference Championship at Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne.

Larsson, a freshman from Emmaboda, Sweden, shot 77 for the second straight day, finishing in a tie with Nova Southeastern's Aldana Foigel at 232 in the nine-team, 45-player field. Larsson had two birdies in the final round, and led the tournament with 35 pars over the three rounds. It was Larsson's sixth Top 5 finish of the season. She has nine Top 10 finishes in 10 events in this, her first year of college golf.

Saint Leo's Marie Coors won the individual title after shooting 1-under 71 for a 223 total. She beat Lions teammate Vilde Eriksen by six strokes. Rollins' Annie Dulman and Lexie Toth tied for third at 14-over 230.

Third-ranked Barry finished fifth with a 54-hole score of 957 on the 5,907-yard course, which is rated the third toughest course in the country. Rollins won the tournament by four strokes over Nova Southeastern after putting up a three-day total of 935. Saint Leo was third, six strokes behind the Sharks at 945.

"It was very difficult," Bucs coach Shannon Sykora said. "I was really proud of how the team fought. It wasn't our day."

Barry's Maria Paola Fiorio carded a final round 82 to tie for ninth at 237. She birdied the par-3 third, and had four birdies during the tournament. Nicky Ferre tied for 24th after shooting 243. She shot 84 Tuesday. Gaby Victoria tied for 28th after shooting 89 to finish at 247. Victoria had two birdies in the final round, finishing with five during the week. Martina Bertuccioli tied for 30th after shooting 89 in the third round to cap the event at 250.

The Bucs tied Nova and Florida Tech in par-3 scoring to lead the tournament. Barry led the field with 143 pars, which was one better than Saint Leo. Larsson was 2-over on par-3 scoring holes to match Lynn's Nadia Luttner and Nova Southeastern's Michelle Ruiz for the tournament-best in that category.
