Barry granted Jonathan his wish at a Make-A-Wish reveal on Homecoming.MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- On a day Barry University granted a wish to a local Make-A-Wish kid, the 10th-ranked Buccaneers delivered the goods in a 116-92 win over Palm Beach Atlantic on Homecoming Saturday.
It was the sixth time Barry has scored over 100 points this season, setting a school record. It also marked the Bucs' fifth straight win, and signaled a bit of revenge for an earlier loss to the Sailfish this season. Barry also tied a school record with 46 field goals, going 46 of 81 from the floor.
The Bucs (17-3) took over sole possession of first place in the Sunshine State Conference. Barry will host Florida Tech at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Yunio Barrueta scored a career-high 41 points, marking the second time he's went for 40 this season. He was 16 of 25 from the floor, and had eight rebounds. Barrueta was 8 of 14 from 3-point range.
Tray Leonard recorded his fifth straight double-double, matching a career-high with 18 points and pulling down a career-best 16 boards.
The Bucs shot 62.8 percent in the second half, going 27 of 43 to break open a 51-33 lead. Barry, which never trailed, led by as many as 33 in the second half. Leonard opened the second with a flurry, scoring 10 points, including two thunderous dunks, in the first 4:48 as the Buccaneers raced out to a 66-45 lead. PBA cut it to 15 on a Malek Barker 3-pointer with 11:20 to go.
Barrueta canned one of his five second half triples just inside the eight-minute mark to push Barry's lead back to 24.
Undra Mitchem buried a three at the 3:45 mark, and
Adrian Gonzalez hit a bucket in the paint 18 seconds later to give the Bucs their largest lead lead, 111-78.
Palm Beach Atlantic shot 56.8 percent in the second half. Osandai Vaughn scored 15 points, and Bakari Warthen had 12 for the Sailfish, whose bench outscored Barry, 41-25.
Gonzalez had 16 points on 6 of 10 shooting.
Anders Haas finished with 16 points and six assists. Mitchem had 13 points on 5 of 10 shooting. Â
TIP-INS: Barry honored Palm Beach's Jonathan, a 17-year-old battling Cystic Fibrosis, as its Sixth Man, presenting him with a personalized jersey. His wish was also granted as he was able to go on stage with 97.3's DJ Laz and Kimberly Bell during the Homecoming festivities. At a Make-A-Wish Reveal before the game, he was presented with his own deejay equipment.Â
