MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Adrian Gonzalez scored a career-high 35 points on a night he reached a milestone as No. 8 Barry grinded out a 100-90 win over a gritty Florida National team to win the Cesar Odio Thanksgiving Classic.
The Buccaneers improved to 15-5 all time in the Thanksgiving tournament, which was named after former Buccaneer coach Cesar Odio, who passed away this summer in a battle with leukemia. It is the fourth straight win for the Bucs since the tournament was named after Odio, the winningest coach in Barry history.
Gonzalez became the eighth player in school history to reach 1,000 career points.

- Sawyer Glick connected on all four of his triple tries, and finished 5 of 7 from the floor for 14 points. He has scored in double figures in four of his five games as a Buccaneer.
- Barry shot 73.3 percent from the floor in the second half, knocking down 22 of 30 field goals.
